Joe completed his CPL(H) exams in May of this year having worked tirelessly for days and months!
The theory for the CPL(H) has a huge amount of content over 13 exams which can seem like a huge task for some, but Joe took to this challenge with a determination and self motivation that helped him throughout. He has done a fantastic job with excellent scores across the board and can now look forward to his hour building.
Joe will be carrying out most of his hour building on the Cabri G2 where he can explore the UK’s sites and prepare himself for the CPL(H) course by gathering as much experience as possible by flying routes such as the London Heli Lanes, flying to controlled airports, or utilising the large areas of controlled airspace to put into practice his radio use and coordinating with other air traffic.
He is also undertaking a type rating course on the R44 to prepare himself for later work opportunities after he has qualified. Joe will also go through an instructor course after his hour building between CPL(H) and FI(H) where he intends to make the trip to Florida and further build his experience.
A huge congratulations to Joe on passing his exams and now its time to enjoy flying on a regular basis once again!!
