When you qualify as a helicopter flight instructor, for the first 100 hours of instruction you are what’s known as a restricted flight instructor, which means you must operate under the guidance of another fully qualified and unrestrited flight instructor. To get the restriction lifted you also need to supervise 25 solo student flight exercieses. Morgan has been building his instructional hours very quickly and of this week Morgan has had his flight instructor restriction lifted by the CAA so can now instruct unsupervised. Well done Morgan! Another milestone!
